Elise Robison Sculpture

Elise Robison, one of 285 Chicago artists to receive the 2007 CAAP Grant from the City, works with plastic for its aesthetic qualities and out of concern for the future environmental consequences posed by unrecycled plastic. Plastic bags become a source of dioxins in the environment, which have been shown to disrupt the reproductive, hormone, insulin and endocrine systems in humans.
